Captain Nick Griffith is the owner and guide behind Hooked Up LLC, offering years of experience on the waters of Leech Lake, Walker, Cass Lake, and Lake Bemidji. A lifelong Minnesota angler, Nick grew up fishing the very lakes he now guides on, developing a deep understanding of seasonal fish behavior, water conditions, and productive spots that only come with time on the water. His calm, easy-going approach makes every trip feel relaxed, yet purposeful—whether you're casting for panfish or chasing that elusive trophy walleye.

Nick specializes in multi-species fishing, with a strong focus on Minnesota walleye fishing trips, which remain a guest favorite. He also guides for northern pike, largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and yellow perch depending on the time of year and where the bite is best. Thanks to his adaptable fishing style and detailed knowledge of area lakes, Nick consistently helps anglers of all experience levels find success—whether they’re jigging rocky drop-offs or casting along weedlines. About the Boat

All trips with Hooked Up LLC are run from a 2021 Alumacraft 175 Edge, powered by a smooth and reliable Suzuki 115 outboard. It’s a clean, well-equipped fishing boat that comfortably fits up to two guests, making it perfect for couples, parent-child outings, or one-on-one experiences. The setup allows for easy casting, trolling, or vertical jigging—whatever the conditions call for. With rods, reels, bait, tackle, and life jackets provided, guests don’t need to worry about gear—just bring your snacks, drinks, and fishing license. This streamlined setup allows Nick to focus on what matters most: finding fish and helping guests make the most of their time on the water.
